Burns/Fenton Weill/Hayman/WHY Rare Vintage 60's bass guitar-SOLD

To be honest at this stage I am slightly guessing , Burns/Hayman who knows ,someone out there is gonna tell me I'm sure- this could be a rare prototype but all indicationas are it is probably English '60's. Van Ghent machine heads , Mahogany neck, Ebony facia on headstock, faded letters or residue from some logo which could read Hyman, Nemises, Framus??? ( difficult to see ). The rosewood fingerboard has bone position inlaid markers behind then applicable frets with a double one at the 12th. 20 Frets, 30" scale , a zero fret.   Looks like an aluminium nut,One die cast aluminium volume control, sprung swing-bridge cover again aluminium with brass adjustable saddles. Perspex floating pick guard with white plastic and silver under decorative design. Strange strap buttons, again could be aluminium construction.
