SORRY THIS ITEM NOW SOLD Early 90's Fender Sunn Mustang made in Korea. This is a budget Strat that Fender produced when they bought out Sunn. It has a good action and is in tidy condition especially the all maple neck and fingerboard. The all black body has a stunning designon the upper corner behind the Bridge position - Neds Atomic Dustbin. This looks and feels like a proffesional job because it wont rub off at all easily , In fact I decided that it was so striking that berst to leave it there anyway. The band were quite a cult back a few years , starting in 1987 untill 1995 , then reformed arond the start of this millenium
Ned's Atomic Dustbin is an English Grebo Rock band formed in Stourbridge in The West Midlands of the UK in November 1987. The band took their name from an episode of The Goons. The band were unusual for using two bass players in their line up: Alex Griffin played melody lines high up on one bass, and Matt played the regular basslines on the other. This gave the band a tense and highly driven sub-hardcore sound with distorted indie guitars and complicated baggy drum beats.
The band was formed while at sixth form college and they recorded their first album while still teenagers. This led to a strong teenage fanbase with a reputation for enjoying stage diving and moshing at their gigs. The band were also noted (and sometimes ridiculed) for their early image which consisted of uniformly crimped hair, short trousers and t shirts. The Neds (as their fans referred to them) were well known for their T shirts and produced over 80 different designs within three years. Towards the end they also branched out into shorts, hats and other merchandise items.
Back to the guitar, 5 way switching with normal Strat controls, Good strong pickups and nice tremelo/bridge fully adjustable. A fewe tiny marks here and there but nothing noticable. Serial Number 26-1100-906
