Fabulous Futurama Duo made by the Jolana company in Czech 1963-67 . These were imported into the UK by Selmer London and the make famously used by one George Harrison in the very early days in Hamburg. Out of the famous CSHN Hradec Kralove factory they were the third and final phase of Czreck solids imported and distributed by Selmer London. In their home country they were under the trade name of Jolana Star guitars.  The built quality on these instruments is very good. see detailed pictures for yourself. This is almost 100% original except for replacement bridge and tremelo/tailpice. The condition of the guitar is good with the odd little paint chip and the varnished neck has typical crazing in the finish showing the 60's vintage. Original machine heads and buttons ( nicely aged), 699 serial number stamped in the wood on the back of the headstock, Good condition Futurama II logo, original Truss rod cover, MOP position markers, Hardly any wear on fingerboard or frets, lovely condition original scratchplate with original screws, Original pots and control knobs, jack socket & strap buttons. The neck is lovely and straight. All original electrics, pickups,wiring & controls, & pots work as they should except the 3 way selector switch is a little tempremental in the middle position but does work ( just a bit fiddly ). The action is good and of course can be adjusted by the adjustable height bridge.  A wonderful cool looking collectors guitar.
