Nice example of a 1970's Morris MIK G banjo. Ideal for all styles. Plays really nice with a warm, loud & lively tone. Low playable action, just right. All original hardware. Machine heads ans buttons all working and in good playing order. Lovely woods in fair condition , a few bad scrapes and scratches on the resonator back. I am a guitarist but even I can get some nice traditional sounds and clawhammer style out of this, so I can imagine what a real player could do! Head in good condition except for a small split/hole which doesn't go anywhere- good tension. Chromed hardware a bit worn on the stays and tailpiece. The chromed body is in much better condition and polishes nicely. One new replacement stay and bracket of the 16 which was missing when I got it.Straight neck. At some stage the neck has had a tiny surface crack at the head which has been solidlty glued with a small run of glue. Works and plays very well. No case included. All in all a good addition to any players arsenal.
