This is a genuine 1906 ( that's 105 years old! ) Italian round bowl back mandolin from the makers L.Romito & F.Carbone in Napoli, Italy. One of the best examples of this type I have ever seen , it has a wonderful label signed and dated by the makers, open side holes, lovely original brass machine heads and original buttons, and constructed from beautiful woods. The action is so easy to play ,set up just right. The case is tatty but also old.
